Tractors Over 50 HP

In the category of tractors over 50 horsepower, which are primarily intended for agricultural use, 1,586 units were registered — a 16% decrease compared to 2023. John Deere remained the best-selling brand on the Czech market, maintaining a 19% market share. It was followed by Fendt (11%), CASE IH (11%), and New Holland (10%).

“The development of the agricultural machinery market in the Czech Republic mirrored the situation in other European countries, where sales also declined in 2024. The main reason is the ongoing uncertainty in the agricultural sector, caused by low commodity purchase prices, high interest rates, and changes in subsidy policies,” says Tomáš Kvapil, Chairman of the Association of Agricultural Machinery Importers. He adds:
“We are entering 2025 with cautious optimism. Initial signals suggest that this year could bring a gradual recovery of investment activity in agricultural machinery.”
